how long does it last

These fillers are temporary and are eventually absorbed by the body. Some clients will need more than one treatment to the area wishing to be treated, but the results can last approx. 6 months or longer depending on individual lifestyles and metabolism. Results depend largely on the type of filler used, health of skin, and the skill of the provider. In the UK fillers are non-prescription medications; they require a CE mark (which regulates adherence to production standards).

When administering dermal fillers we will use either a needle or cannula, depending on the area to be treated. This would be discussed at your consultation.

Tear Trough Treatment – This is the area between the lower eyelid and upper cheek. With age this area can become longer and deeper in appearance, dark shadows can appear under our eyes making us look tired and older than we are. This treatment normally takes around 45 minutes and a local anaesthetic numbing cream can be used prior to treatment for comfort. This treatment aims to reduce or remove the dark hollows under our eyes; it is a safe and fast procedure with no excessive recovery time. Results are normally visible immediately as it is replacing lost volume in the area. Tear trough treatment using dermal filler last approximately 12 months. We can not treat eye bags with this treatment.

Cheek Augmentation – We add dermal fillers to the cheek to add volume under the skin. As we age our cheeks can become flatter or sunken resulting in a poor profile. This is a popular treatment to improve a strong facial contour. This procedure takes around 30 minutes to administer. Following the procedure there may be some redness, swelling and possibly some bruising. It is recommended that a numbing cream be used prior to this treatment as it can be uncomfortable. This treatments lasts approximately 12 months.

Chin Augmentation – This is becoming a really popular treatment to correct profile balance and symmetry of the chin when the face is looked at a whole. Redefining the chin area really sculpts the face and harmonises the profile.

Non-surgical Rhinoplasty – This treatment uses dermal filler to redefine, correct the exterior of the nose.Non surgical rhinoplasty uses a fairly small amount of dermal filler and is a quick procedure with very little downtime. It is very effective for balancing the profile of the face creating symmetry.
